The Suggestion Box

Where Ideas Become Innovation

Welcome to the collective brain of Be More Adaptive. This is more than just a feedback form. It is a space where lived experience meets creative problem-solving. We believe that those who face daily barriers are the ones best equipped to design the solutions.

Your thoughts here are the foundation for our future Innovation Hub. By sharing your ideas, you are helping us identify exactly where the world needs to change and providing the spark for the tools and systems we will build next.

Where does your idea fit?

Design Better

This is our home for physical and digital innovation. If you have an idea for a more intuitive assistive tool, a vision for a truly universal public space, or a suggestion for making digital platforms more accessible, this is where your voice belongs. We use the insights gathered here to partner with designers, engineers, and brands to reimagine the products and environments we interact with every day. Our goal is to move beyond "compliance" and toward a world that is instinctively designed for everyone.

Policy & Advocacy

Real change often requires a seat at the table where the rules are written. This section is dedicated to systemic and legislative improvements. Whether you are suggesting a change to city ordinances, identifying gaps in building codes, or proposing new standards for workplace equity, your input here helps us shape the policies that govern our society. We take these suggestions directly to lawmakers and organizational leaders to advocate for a more just and inclusive community framework.

Emergency Readiness

In times of crisis, the adaptive community is often the most vulnerable. This space is dedicated to improving disaster resilience and public safety. Share your feedback on first responder protocols, neighborhood safety plans, or your personal experiences during events like freezes and floods. Your insights allow us to work with emergency management teams to ensure that disaster response is never a "one size fits all" approach and that no one is left behind when it matters most.

Surveys

This is where your personal experience becomes collective power. While the Suggestion Box is for broad ideas, these surveys gather the specific evidence we need to hold industries and government agencies accountable. Whether you’re weighing in on First Responder protocols, Brand Accessibility, or Urban Infrastructure, your participation provides the "hard numbers" that prove where the world is failing and how it must improve. This is your direct path to making change happen.

Research Collaborations

For Students & Academics. We invite researchers and students to use our platform to reach a community that is often overlooked or misrepresented. This is a gated portal where you can submit your research projects or surveys for our review. We act as the ethical filter—ensuring your study is accessible, inclusive, and offers value back to our community. If approved, we provide the bridge to the participants you need. Our goal is to move disability research away from "observation" and toward true partnership.

Innovation Partners

For Designers, Engineers, & Brands. This is the intake for the "Makers." If you are a creator looking for your next project, an engineer wanting to solve a real-world barrier, or a brand ready to audit your products, this is where you start. We provide access to the de-identified needs found in our Suggestion Box and pair them with the creative talent capable of building the solution. Whether you are a student working on a capstone project or a global corporation, this is your invitation to build for the community, with the community.

Our Ethical Charter

The Data Stewardship Pledge

Before you share your ideas, we want you to know exactly how we handle them. We are setting a global standard for transparency:

  • We Never Sell You: Your personal identity (name, email, location) is never sold to third parties or used for marketing. We are data stewards, not data brokers.

  • Aggregated for Impact: We use your input to create public statistics (e.g., "70% of users report X barrier") to prove to brands and lawmakers that change is necessary.

  • Open Innovation: By submitting an idea, you are contributing to our Open Innovation Database. This protects the idea from being "gatekept" and allows us to advocate for solutions that remain accessible and affordable for the community.

  • Credit Where It’s Due: While we cannot offer financial compensation for suggestions, we are committed to highlighting the community's role in every breakthrough we achieve.

How the Pipeline Works

  1. Submit: You drop your idea or opinion into the box.

  2. Analyze: Our team de-identifies your input and adds it to our Impact Dashboard.

  3. Collaborate: We bring these insights to our partners—universities, designers, and brands—to find a solution.

  4. Innovate: We work to bring the tool, policy, or plan to life for the benefit of the global community.
